My name is Shelly Dowell and I live in the Bluegrass state of Kentucky, land of horses and bourbon. I'm originally a northerner but have adopted the slower pace down south. I will always like my chicken noodles served over mashed potatos, I will never be a drinker of  "sweet tea" but I am happy to call Kentucky my home.

I love to cook and paint and cook and eat and paint and cook and paint and eat. In that order.
