It took me a few years to figure out that starting your day bright and early really does make you feel better. It's sort of like having an organized closet. Another thing that took me far to long to figure out, but that's a different post.
Whoa...I've never actually seen one of these in the store before. Should I buy it? Is that fried rice spilling out of it? Uhhh I don't think this is for me.
Now her is an isle I can do some damage in! Have you tried a Bounty Bar? It's like an Almond Joy only I like it a little better.
More British foods. Anyone want a biscuit with their tea? I love how some items sounds so scientific. Digestives.
Another of my favorite isles. CHEESE. Did you know there are over 600 types of cheeses in France? Can you imagine their cheese isle?
This is not one of my favorite isles, but I do think there is something to going gluten free for some of us. Or at least cutting back on it.
I wonder how our prices compare to yours? Thanks for going to the store with me!
Bye!
You certainly looked like you had loads of fun shopping! And I agree...everything was so colorful. I love the early morning, too. Sunrise is the best time of the day I think. But we try not to go anywhere in a car that time of day around here because it's rush hour!
ReplyDeleteI love grocery shopping! I know I'm weird. I think it's because I don't have kids. I can go at my pace without anyone bugging me for candy haha ;-) I shop in the opposite direction of downtown so I miss the rush hour folks! Sometimes it's nice to live in a smaller city.
DeleteShelly, you put a good spin on grocery shopping. My favorite thing to do! LOL! You are your father's daughter!
ReplyDeleteYou never did like it, I think Robin is like you. Get in and get out! haha I love it, I love poking around reading labels, looking for new stuff to try. But not that TurDucHen!
DeleteNo, I like grocery shopping all by myself. ALONE! This doesn't really happen. Also, the gluten free cake to the far left on your gluten free isle...I made it in chocolate and it was grainy and weird. Thumbs down.
ReplyDeleteyeah I'm finding that the gluten free products I've tired are not very good. I tried a bagel that I put turkey on for lunch. I ended just not eating the bagel. It had a funny taste. I'd rather just cut out gluten foods than try faux-ish foods.
